Raymond D. Figueroa
CEO, American Fibroid Centers
Raymond Figueroa is a highly accomplished senior healthcare executive with in-depth experience in all facets of healthcare administration. He earned his bachelor’s degree in advanced science and technology from Thomas Edison State College. In addition, he gained critical clinical skills from the Clinical Nuclear Medicine Technologist program at the Naval School of Health Science.
Mr. Figueroa brings the credentials of a clinical provider, Chief Executive Officer, and entrepreneur to a field that is facing unprecedented challenges. With more than 20 years working as a healthcare CEO, Mr. Figueroa has built several healthcare organizations that offer best-in-class patient care while delivering high rates of return to physicians, private equity firms, and investors.
Elsie Koh, MD EMHL
Chief Medical Officer, American Fibroid Centers
Elsie Koh, MD, EMHL, is an interventional radiologist and entered the field when only 1% of doctors in interventional radiology were women. Through the years, she has held leadership positions in multiple organizations. Dr. Koh was Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) and Regional Medical Officer at Fresenius Vascular Care North America. She served as a medical officer and consultant to the executive Chief Medical Officer at Fresenius Medical Care North America.
In early 2019, she founded LEAD Physician®, a leadership coaching program for physicians. For her leadership, devotion to patient comfort, and staff growth, Dr. Koh was also recognized as a Healthcare Hero in NJ in 2019 and is also a six-time winner of a Patient’s Choice Award and a triple-year winner of Compassionate Doctor Recognition from Vitals.com. Currently, Dr. Koh serves as the Chief Medical Officer for American Fibroid Centers.
Israel Schur, MD
Medical Director, American Fibroid Centers
Israel Schur, MD, is one of the most accomplished interventional radiologists in the nation. Before joining American Fibroid Centers, he served as Medical Director of Endovascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology at American Access Care Physicians in New York City for over 15 years. Dr. Schur holds nine U.S. patents for Interventional Radiology and Endovascular Surgery devices.
Several of Dr. Schur’s original and pioneering publications in the field of Vascular and Interventional Radiology have been cited by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). A graduate of Chicago Medical School, he completed a residency in Radiology at St. Luke’s Hospital/Columbia University and served a fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago. He has been invited as a guest to prestigious medical conferences throughout the world where you will find him speaking about advancements in Endovascular Surgery.
Deborah Helmer
Chief Operating Officer, American Fibroid Centers
With more than 25 years of management experience in healthcare, Deborah Helmer is the Chief Operating Officer at American Fibroid Centers. She has a comprehensive knowledge of virtually all facets of the industry, from billing and operations to Electronic Medical Records, Project Management, and more. Before American Fibroid Centers, Deborah served as the operational leader for American Access Care.
She single-handedly oversaw billing, collections, and operations for 30 Interventional/Vascular centers operating at 60,000 annualized visits with $125 million in collections. Her unparalleled grasp of granular healthcare policy and procedures allows her to develop streamlined workflows to comply with all requirements, including Joint Commission accreditation and Medicare guidelines.
Michelle Gregg
VP of Sales & Marketing, American Fibroid Centers
Michelle Gregg is one of the few healthcare professionals that understand how to fuse sales and marketing to build a more powerful brand. As Vice President of Sales & Marketing at American Fibroid Centers, Michelle oversees all sales and marketing efforts including the field sale team, inside sales division, digital marketing, website design & SEO, advertising, CRM integration, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and more. Her expertise includes managing multi-state sales teams, leading mergers and acquisition efforts, and building healthcare brands in digital and print spaces.
Throughout her career, Michelle has successfully launched startup field-sales teams and has grown them to a national footprint. Before American Fibroid Centers, Michelle served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for American Chronic Care (ACC) where she led the entire sales and marketing divisions. With over 20 years in healthcare sales experience, Michelle leads with a passion for patient care, and builds corporate cultures in which everyone works together to provide the highest level of healthcare excellence to improve patient outcomes.
