Joseph Shams, MD, is a distinguished interventional radiologist and vascular specialist in New York City. Dr. Shams earned his medical degree from the State University of New York-Health Science Center in Brooklyn and completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Yale University School of Medicine. He is also a widely published authority on Interventional Radiology with papers appearing in a range of medical journals. 

For five consecutive years, Dr. Shams has earned himself a spot on the Castle Connolly Top Doctors List in the New York metropolitan area for his technical skill, history of innovation, and dedication to patients.
