Meet Dr. Morar
Kamal Morar, MD, graduated from the University of Cincinnati with honors, earning degrees in biology and philosophy. He earned his MD from the St. Georges University School of Medicine, followed by an internship at St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Pontiac Michigan and a diagnostic radiology residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. He subsequently completed a fellowship in vascular interventional radiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. Morar is board certified in vascular and interventional radiology, as well as diagnostic radiology. He continues to pursue additional training and certifications and regularly participates in research studies, committees and professional organizations including active memberships in the Ohio State Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American College of Radiology, the North American Neuromodulation Society and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
Dr. Morar specializes in cutting edge, minimally invasive techniques in an outpatient setting. As of January, 2022 he has completed more than 30,000 interventional radiology procedures which include uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), interventional oncology procedures, various venous interventions and interventional pain management. As an active member of the local physician community, Dr. Morar speaks and presents at numerous events, and spearheads many of the efforts to educate patients. He is also inspired by and deeply involved in his family’s philanthropy work, building health and education infrastructure in rural India, a legacy he plans to continue.
